Looking for house plants that aren’t just green? Join the club! I’ve become obsessed with plants that have rainbow-colored leaves. 

Here are 19 of my favorites that are super easy to grow and look awesome.

1. Polka Dot Plant

I fell in love with the polka dot plant at first sight. Its vibrant pink leaves with dark green patches are simply irresistible. I’ve found that exposing it to morning sunlight makes the colors even more striking.

For an extra splash of color, try the Carmina variant. Its shades of purple and scarlet never fail to catch the eye of visitors to my home.

2. Rainbow Peperomia

This compact houseplant has become a favorite on my windowsill. Its slender leaves boast a stunning mix of green and cream, tinged with a soft pink hue.

3. Wild Rabbit

The wild rabbit plant is a real conversation starter in my living room. Its light green leaves with red banding are unique, and the white variegation adds to its eye-catching rosette shape.

4. Tornado Rex Begonia

For a darker palette, I love my Tornado Rex Begonia. The dark green leaves splashed with silver, bronze, and deep purple add a touch of drama to any room.

5. Calanchoe Humulus

If you’re a pattern lover like me, you’ll adore Calanchoe Humulus. Its pale green egg-shaped leaves adorned with maroon or purple streaks never fail to catch the eye.

6. Pink Rubber Plant

My pink rubber plant is a true rainbow in itself. Its thick, shiny leaves showcase an array of colors – yellow, pink, beige, and red spots. Some varieties even offer a rainbow-like effect!

7. Rainbow Bush Jade Plant

Not only is this plant a colorful addition to my home, but it’s also incredibly easy to care for. It thrives in bright indirect light, and rumor has it, it brings good luck too!

8. Cordyline Bolero

The Cordyline Bolero is perfect for those who love bold colors. Its glossy leaves feature a medley of yellow, green, bright red, and pink tones that brighten up any corner.

9. Bush on Fire Croton

True to its name, my Bush on Fire Croton offers a fiery blend of red, green, pink, and yellow leaves. It’s like having a sunset indoors!

10. Mammy Croton

Another Croton variety I adore is the Mammy. Its glossy leaves showcase a beautiful mix of purple, green, red, and yellow.

11. Ginny Galaxy Begonia

For begonia lovers, the Ginny Galaxy is a must-have. Its dark green leaves splashed with pink, silver, and burgundy red variegation are truly out of this world.

12. Jacob’s Coat

Jacob’s Coat offers an assortment of foliage colors ranging from green and white to red and pink. I particularly love the Tiki, Peach Whirl, and Musica variants.

13. Rose Painted Calathea

The Rose Painted Calathea never fails to impress with its broad striped leaves in dark green, rose, and ivory shades. It’s like having a living painting in your home!

14. Caladium

If you love choices, Caladium is for you. With hundreds of colorful cultivars, you’re spoiled for choice. My personal favorites are Carolyn Wharton and Frida Hempel.

15. Aglaonema

Aglaonema brings a range of rainbow-like foliage into your home. I’ve found the Siam Aurora and Anyan Mini varieties to be especially popular among my plant-loving friends.

16. Red Star Nerve Plant

The Red Star Nerve Plant is perfect for adding rich hues to your home. Its leaves are beautifully striped with deep red-pink veins, creating a stunning visual effect.

17. Moses in the Cradle (Boat Lily)

Also known as Boat Lily, this plant features narrow dark green leaves with pink margins, creamy white streaks, and purple undersides. It’s like having a mini rainbow in a pot!

18. Friendship Plant

The Friendship Plant boasts upright red-green leaves sprinkled with white dots. It adds a touch of brightness to any space and makes for a great gift too!

19. Stromanthe Tricolor

Last but not least, the Stromanthe Tricolor offers slender leaves with white variegation and shades of light pink or peach. It’s become a stunning centerpiece in my dining room.
